Sturgill Santana
commissioned piece. 2023
Sycamore, oak, Maple, Sycamore, Cherry, Greenheart, Walnut
In a Private collection
The team are celebrating the unearthing and restoration of this exquisite depiction of Mars colonist Sturgill Santana. The statue was recovered from a new site believed to have been a trading post and scoonavillum at the base of Olympus Mons. High levels of spore suggest that engineered flora sustained this outpost.
Our team at the British museum have been working hard to decipher tablets found at the site. These suggest Santana was a discalced friar involved with a mystery cult which arose when communication with earth seized. The group cultivated an unknown flower for ritual purposes.
Wreckage from a downed transporter, a hewdbrewage c2000 have been located nearby.
