An artist, Explorer and Anthropologist in an age where woman were expected to be none of these, Edith made waves. Edith was born in London but bopped about the rolling hills and stomping grounds of Albania recording the lives of locals in detail.
She collected many examples of craft and became an Albanian national hero for raising awareness of the plight from the Ottoman expire.
